If Account Info (homepage) or Profile block (Profiles) do not show to you, try clearing the cache of your browser (in chrome, opening menu, choosing settings, clicking on history, then selecting clear browsing data button - try clearing everything after which you'd need to re-login but the info should be showing to you now).
I have changed the processing of the smiley's codes, so it will be showing the emoticons only from now on. However, if you miss the smiley's feature, tell me and I bring it back. :)
Just to make you aware - when you get a notification about a comment on a photo, for example, and when you visit the photo and CANNOT find any new comments, look for replies underneath individual comments. Click on the link saying for example 2 replies and it will show you these. One exception - the homepage's and profile's wall (=Mirror) do not have nested replies/subcomments, all dialogue is in one thread.
Changes in the number of allowed open chats - the setting's now increased up to 16 active chats and they should fit inside your bottom menu nicely. Please let me know in case there are any errors or difficulties with chat. Also, you don't need to keep all your chats open. When you've finished chatting, close the window so that you can receive messages from other members (with 16 active chats no further members can send you a chat message). The chat that is closed still remembers what was said...
By the way, the pop up menu that appears when you hover your mouse over somebody's thumbnail will now go away itself = if you move your mouse away from the menu (if it doesn't close just move your mouse over the pop up and then move away again). Or just click with mouse anywhere and it disappears as well. :)
You can always report photos with the report button - even conversations, by clicking on that little minus icon (to give negative rating and when the post is too low, it'll be auto-hidden).
For all those hesitating if it's appropriate to join Ilkdom - actually, we are here for people with a good health, too. Ilkdom connects people with the same burden of illness or disability BUT it is also giving them a chance to mingle with healthy people on even terms, whereas people with no health problems can help just by being here or talking to those less fortunate with respect, compassion or at least without any prejudice at all. In the end, social networking is ALSO about socializing. :)
For those who like demotivators, I've created a zone for these at our Facebook group. Demotivational Posters Zone in https://www.facebook.com/groups/ilkdom/
There should really be a bit more gifts that we can send to friends only. I could only find a single rose! The rest is just for lovers or someone that likes another one a lot.
Complaints board is kind of in Feedback, or Suggestions. I'd give you the links but would prefer to force you to learn using the top menu, hover your mouse over Account and see the submenu. :)
